Scoring System Considerations

Upon deciding on the game plays on the respective difficulty levels, a scoring system was next up for discussion!

As each difficulty level is based on different aspects of visual perception skills, each difficulty level has a different scoring system.

The team is aware of the fact that if a player has not been winning any rounds relative to his/her peers, this player may be demoralised as the game progresses. Hence, the penalty system imposed is to motivate the players lagging behind to achieve better scores, serving as an opportunity to overturn the rankings. In this maanner, the lower-scoring players have a chance to increase their scores, instead of widening the score inequality among the players.
