Visual Proficiency - the ability to read and interpret written symbols quickly and accurately.

Being able to comprehend a picture or a text seems like a simple intuitive process. We look at it, and are able to make sense of it. It seems simple, but it is actually an extremely complex process of visual perception. With the current lack of proper educational exposure, many are inadequate in processing visual information appropriately as a consequence.
